Kids Unlimited exists to create safe, age-appropriate, and high-energy environments where children birth–5th grade can experience God’s love and learn to follow Jesus in a fun and impactful way.
Position Overview
The Kids Unlimited Associate supports the children’s ministry at the campus-level by assisting in the recruitment, development, and care of volunteer leaders, while helping create excellent, safe, and engaging environments for kids and families.
This role is ideal for someone who is relational, organized, and energized by building teams, and who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in communicating the vision, mission, and values of Church Unlimited
• Support and serve during weekend services and special events
• Help identify, recruit, and develop volunteer leaders
• Monitor volunteer processes and follow up on next steps weekly
• Support volunteer onboarding and orientation processes
• Assist in planning and executing campus-level Kids Unlimited events
• Ensure all classrooms and environments are clean, organized, and Sunday-ready
• Train volunteers using Kids Unlimited systems, tools, and handbook
• Maintain a safe, secure, and excellent environment for kids and families
• Collaborate with the Kids Unlimited Director and central team for alignment
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
• Authentic and growing relationship with Jesus
• Passion for reaching and developing the next generation
• Strong relational and communication skills
• Ability to recruit, train, and encourage volunteers
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in children’s ministry, education, or volunteer leadership preferred
• Team player with a positive, flexible, and teachable attitude
• Strong alignment with Church Unlimited’s mission and culture
